b.adaptive hoodies are designed with the idea of solving the difficulty that is apparent when putting clothes over heads and fastening up hoodies, sweatshirts and coats, especially if movement in the hands and body are limited.
Our hoodies are designed with an opening at the neck to make it easier to put on for the wearer and make dressing easier for carers. The front opening also allows access for Cancer port holes or TPN (Total parenteral nutrition) feeding, another subtle adaptation. The hoodies also have a zip opening on the sleeve from the wrist up and down towards the waist and finished with magnetic closing from the waist to stop bunching whilst sitting. The back is longer to ensure coverage whilst sitting and designed in an oversize fitting to ensure a good fit whilst wearing over t-shirts.
Our joggers are designed especially for wheelchair users. These unique jogging pants ensure full coverage while sitting – so you don’t have to worry about flashing! The functional front-opening zip enables easy and clean self-catheterising.
Joggers are available in cuffed and open hem leg openings.
Our shorts have the unique design of the fly front opening and higher back which enables the wearer to enjoy b.adaptive comfort in the summer.
We are looking for the right investors to share our vision of being the leading adaptive leisurewear brand and would love to see our products in the high street e.g. JD sports or a collaboration with leading sports brands like Adidas who are already involved in designing adaptive sportswear. Our ultimate goal would be to collaborate with the UK paralympics and design the paralympic team tracksuit, using our unique features.
