As a champion for the South West and creativity, Creative UK would like to invite you to attend two events in Cornwall.
Tevyans Kernow | 5th February 6pm | Nancarrow Farm
Cornwall is home to a vibrant and growing community of entrepreneurs, investors, and support organisations. By The evening will be hosted by the CEO’s of Crowdfunder and Creative UK, Dawn Bebe and Caroline Norbury, and will also include a keynote from Stephen Welton, CEO of the British Business Bank. The businesses range from technology to sustainable design to support services to technical training but all with a commitment to Cornwall’s people, environments, story and future talent.
This special event is part of Tevyans Kernow. A support programme that helps socially impactful creative businesses crowdfund investment while increasing visibility to bridge their growth and provide a return for Cornwall. Crowdfunder has shared some impressive statistics that demonstrate the number of people giving to Cornish Projects via their 2021 ‘Cornwall Calling’ cultural campaign achieved over £500k of pledges, generating £3 of additional income to every £1 pledged by Cornwall Council. Our invitation to you, as a valued advocate for social impact, is to connect with a campaigning business on the 5th February and learn how you can champion their endeavours into the long term.
