Our mission is to bring together experienced and new angel investors, creating opportunities for investment into high-growth, early-stage companies. These investments support the sustainable growth of the regional economy, help attract and retain talent, and strengthen Cornwall’s position as a cluster of creativity and innovation in the UK. We are creating an inclusive and supportive environment for both investors and founders, fostering connections, conversations, and cultivating opportunities for investment and growth. At every stage, the Network remains impartial and sector-agnostic, ensuring opportunities are accessible across industries.
The Cornwall Angel Network is a registered member of the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA), the national trade association representing angel and early-stage investment in the UK.

How we started
The idea of a Cornwall angel network was softly launched in April 2024 by the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and the British Business Bank and received widespread support from local and regional stakeholders. On 1st October 2024, the Cornwall Angel Network launched with Falmouth University becoming the home for the network, leading its development and working in collaboration with the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, British Business Bank and the UK Business Angels Association. As an anchor institution in Cornwall, Falmouth University leverages over a decade of experience in delivering the Launchpad incubation and acceleration programme and supporting local high growth businesses raise in excess of £4m.
