The Value we bring for companies
For general business support:
Investment
More than just capital
Angel investors invest in high-growth, early-stage companies, backing visionary teams across diverse industries. Angel investors bring not only funding but also strategic insights, experience and connections to help you scale faster and smarter. We meet with every single one of our angel investors upon joining the network to ensure the quality of our membership and maximise your chances of raising capital. Thanks to public funding, the Network does not charge membership fees to angel investors. Instead, members pledge to make one investment in their first year. For founders, this means the opportunity to raise capital without paying a success fee. The Cornwall Angel Network does not make investment decisions or recommendations with each angel investor deciding whether an investment is right for them.
Confidentiality
A Network based on trust
The Cornwall Angel Network team goes above and beyond to ensure the confidentiality of companies and investors both online and in person. We ensure your confidentiality through:
- Private Investor Showcases (in person) attended only by angel investor members and the Cornwall Angel Network team and without networking with founders. As a company, you will not know who else is pitching on the same day. We aim to create a safe environment for open, honest dialogue about your funding round. Introductions to angel investors are made after the showcase by the Cornwall Angel Network team only with their consent. Your pitch will be recorded and featured on your company profile for angel investor members to access for up to 6 months. With your consent, we will also make your company profile visible to regional and national VC funds and other angel networks.
- No online repository. Companies cannot see who else has pitched to the network. Only companies that have raised from our angels will be featured publicly part of the portfolio.
Support
Your success is our mission
We want to give founders the best possible chance to raise investment from Cornwall Angel Network investors. Our team will meet with you before the private investment showcase to brief you on the format of the meeting, discuss your deck and share example questions from past showcases. Your pitch will be recorded and featured on your company profile for up to 6 months, giving your company the best chance of attracting interest from all existing and future angel investors. You will also have the option to practice your pitch on our premises and receive feedback. You can now request FREE Beauhurst reports on your competitors to help you stand out, login to find out more.
